Jack Noronha

I'm Jack Noronha, an independent science fiction author in love with stories that mix intense action, sharp humor and, when necessary, a good dose of violence to do justice to the plot. I was born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, but life took me far away. Even so, I still carry much of my homeland in my voice, my manner and my heart. I've been a programmer-analyst since 2008, a profession that opened doors to work with companies all over the world. Behind the logic and the lines of code, though, there is a restless mind, always hungry to create and explore. My world doesn't stop at the page. I've been spotted on a football pitch, coming down mountains on a snowboard, tearing up kart tracks, dancing Bachata — sometimes even teaching it — playing guitar and drums, training kung fu (orange belt, and proud of it) and exploring the seabed with a tank on my back. Everything I do, live and feel eventually finds its way into my stories. Because in the end that is what writing is: turning life, with all its action, intensity and madness, into something the reader can feel on their skin.
